ClaimLeo - Pirate Ad

Creating an AI-generated marketing video for a piracy insurance product.

Project Summary

"How do you make a piracy insurance product feel cinematic and urgent — without a film crew?"

ClaimLeo needed a marketing video that communicated the stakes of software piracy and the value of their insurance product. Rather than shooting traditional footage, this project leaned fully into AI-generated video to build a compelling visual narrative.

Using AI video generation tools, I was able to rapidly prototype scenes, iterate on the look and feel, and compose a polished final edit — all without leaving the desk.

Main Goals

  • Create a compelling marketing video for the ClaimLeo piracy insurance product
  • Explore and apply AI video generation in a real production workflow
  • Deliver a polished, branded final edit with logo and motion graphics

Tools Used

Premiere Pro

For composing the video clips and text animation.

Higgsfield: Nano Banana 2 + Seedance 2.0

For generating AI video content used throughout the video.

Figma

For logo refining and appearance.

Adobe Stock

For sourcing the original home-office image used at the beginning of the video.

AI Prompts Step-by-Step

01Create Scanned Room End Frame
Step 1

At first I tried generating the room scanning video in one take, but the quality of the individual item scan graphics was not good enough. Generating an image to use as the end frame made it much better.

02Animate Scanning Video
Step 2
03Create / Refine Destroyed Room
Step 3

It took some troubleshooting to get the items to show up as holograms and the room to be more destroyed.

04Animate House Explosion Clip
Step 4

We joked about how the result of the previous step looked as if the house had exploded, so I decided, well, why not make it actually explode!

Change of Direction

I was messing around with music, and for fun, I added a sea shanty to the explosion, and something about it really worked out and came together. So this inspired the rest of the content being pirate themed.

05Create Pirate Ship Reference
Step 5
06Animate Pirate Ship Firing
Step 6

I went for a very nice cut from music to a moment of quiet, quickly interrupted by erupting cannons.

07Create Close Up Pirates Reference
Step 7
08Animate Pirates Talking
Step 8

I was really satisfied how this final scene came out. It was executed nearly perfectly identical to how I had it pictured in my head, down to the voice.

Let's build something together.
